My own mentor and teacher, brain and behavior researcher T.D. Lingo, began his Colorado brain lab back in 1957. He first worked with juveniles, then adults and young adults for a total period of over 35 years. He compiled an enormous amount of data from short term and extended longitudinal studies, which he frequently reflected on in informal- sometimes wild!- short essays and lessons. These papers were in turn then given to the next group of student/subjects which in term generated further data.

 

I met Lingo in 1981, and subsequently studied  with him and then became his primary assistant over the next 11 years. At that time, all of his major writings were entrusted in my keeping to continue the dissemination of his life's work, and to aid me in furthering this field of broad brain education and research.

From 1989 until 1999 I published four of my own brain books designed for all level readers, The Frontal Lobes Supercharge, Brain Magic, Have Fun, and (The Frontal Lobes Handbook- updated in 1998 as Supercharge).
