Thing By Car
RIGHT! After the wedding I took my new family camping, then we got my stuff and I moved. It wasn't long after I had settled in to my new home that more things started to happen. Not being one for sleepwalking I found myself doing it off and on. The strangest of which was the time my wife woke up to find me standing at one of the bedroom windows. When she asked me what I was doing I told her SHHH THERE COMING! I walked to all three windows in the bedroom and repeated myself. When I eventually lay back down in bed I proceeded to say THERE HERE, I CAN FEEL IT, and promptly started snoring. It wasn't just the sleep walking that was worrisome. On August 30, 2002, at about 2:00am in the morning, something woke us up. Even with our eyes closed we could notice the bright lights filling our room and flashing through our eyelids. It seemed to happen once every couple of seconds flash after flash! When we both opened are eyes I heard my wife say "Great, they're here for us, at least they are not afraid to park in the front yard". But as we lay there nothing happened. So I got up and looked out of the bedroom window. What I saw was not only amazing but also a little scary. I have seen all kinds of weather but never anything like this. Lightening, strobe lightning that seemed to never stopped, and made no sound, there was no thunder at all. I yelled for my wife to come see it, and she told me to get my video camera to tape it. I grabbed the video camera out of the closet, and looking out our big picture window, I began to tape the strange event.

At this point I was pretty concerned that this might be tornado weather, and kept my eyes on the sky. If I would have at least looked down I would have noticed the object spinning on the road in front of our parked van, as it turned out I had to wait to replay the tape before we noticed it. As you watched the camera pan down for a short moment there it is.

At first I thought it must be a reflection but after a good investigation we realized it was not. On closer inspection of the video, the damn thing comes up on to the grass closer to me, and then backed up when I sneezed.
The dark line going left to right slightly at an angel is the grass line. Notice where the object is in regards to the line and you can see it changes positions.
What ever it was, it was only about a foot tall giving off a red light and spinning. Everyone was baffled, but no one could explain what it was. I would have been content if none of this ever happened but it would seem I was to get another visit by this strange little object. One evening on September 7, 2002 my wife decided to go sit on the front step and watch the cats play. I heard her yell to come watch our cat Lacey she was acting very odd. When I got out side we watched in amazement, as the cat seemed to be stalking something that was not there. She was concentrating in the area of where the object had been on the ground in front of the van a few weeks prior. I ran back into the house and got the video camera, to see if with the night vision on it would pick up anything, but nothing! As I started filming, our big cat started stalking something at the spot where the object had been sitting. But nothing was there.

We watched this for a while and my wife decided to go back inside she was cold. Not long after that the cats suddenly jerked their heads around and bolted off to the back yard! I followed them; just as I turned on my camera I noticed something by the corner of the garage.
Object was on the left side of garage.
"Oh Shit", is all I could say as I realized it was the same spinning red object I had captured on my camera weeks earlier and I was seeing it with my own eyes! I was no more then twenty-five feet from it, there was no sound and it was spinning. Someone had to be playing a joke on me. So I got up a little courage and with camera rolling I walked towards it.
I got pretty close before it messed with my camera.
I was less then fifteen feet away when suddenly my camera screen went white, then the screen went blank, the sound still worked however.

A second later the neighbor across the alley had there motion sensor spot light on there garage turned on, when I looked to see what had happened to the object it was gone! I stopped dead in my tracks, terrified. My wife was in the kitchen and saw me out the window standing dead still in the yard, and as she opened the door it snapped me out of the fear, and I yelled her name, and told her what had happened, she watched the video replay with me, and we noticed that the video had gone out but the audio still worked on it, we walked out to the corner of the garage together, and could not find any trace that the object had been there, no marks in the grass, just like the last time, no proof other than the video. All I can say is thank God for my video camera

This is the exact location I was as I filmed the object by the garage.
Except for the weird electrical and bird anomalies, not much has happened. If it dose I will try to keep track. But with the hundreds of witnesses, and all of the physical evidence. I realize now that I must come to terms with the fact that this is real and not a bad dream or a psychotic episode. I really wish I knew the answers to all of this, but I'm sure so does everyone else!
