to the right. The outside diameter of the ML wheel is 12 and 3/4 inches, the original is
actually 2 full inches wider at 14 3/4 (this photo is deceptive apparently). The smaller wheel
makes for a much better and sensitive driving feel, it also has thicker wood and is stronger.
I wouldn't argue that the original wheel, though too big for my tastes, looks very nice.
However, the bigger wheel also obstructs the forward view when mounted on the column
more than the smaller wheel. I vote for the re-issue.
